On an isolated beach, along Brazil's northeastern coastline, a fisherman carries one of the last remaining "jangada de piuba", a primitive sailing raft who's historical past dates to ancient Greece. Made from logs of the 'piúba tree’ whose lightwood can carry many times its weight on water. This craft is a reminder of the regions rich traditions rapidly disappearing. At last count, there were only 65 remaining.
